School Development Plan

At Mulgrave Primary School, our School Development Plan is at the heart of how we continue to grow, strengthen, and improve every aspect of school life. It sets out the key priorities we focus on throughout the year to ensure we are always moving forward and delivering the very best outcomes for our children.

Each half term, we focus on specific areas for development—ranging from curriculum and teaching to wellbeing and community engagement. Progress and impact are regularly monitored and reported to our Governing Body, and shared openly with parents and carers through our termly Headteacher’s Forum.

We place great importance on the voice of our families and actively welcome parental feedback. By working collaboratively with parents and carers, we ensure that our priorities reflect the needs of our community and that every child benefits from a strong partnership between home and school. This ongoing dialogue helps us to refine our approach, celebrate successes, and address challenges together—building a school environment where children can truly thrive.

Our School Development Plan is firmly rooted in our vision and ethos:

Every Child a Success
We are proud of the unique strengths and talents each child brings to our school. Our development work is driven by our belief that every child deserves to learn, believe, and succeed—each in their own way.
